About Me
Born and raised in the Midwest, RC Johnson grew up dreaming of being a published author and writing silly short stories in her free time. While in college, RC published two short stories. After graduating with a BFA in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University and completing a Certificate in Editing from UC Berkeley, she started working for her local library system. In between shelving books and helping people find their new favorite read, RC spends her free moments staring off into space and thinking of how to start the next chapter in her work-in-progress.
She's currently querying a light science fiction novel about emotions and writing the second book in the duology. Her other WIPs include a Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice retelling set in New York and a space opera with monsters who suck the life out of planets. In between writing and working, RC loves watching Korean Dramas (and rating them on K-Drama Now), reading, and genealogy. |
